
Fresh fennel recipe – combing sweet apples with crunchy fresh fennel, cider vinegar, and molasses for a unique slaw.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon molasses
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1 fennel bulb trimmed and cut into strips
4 large apples cut into strips (a nice combination is to use 2 tart apple varieties and 2 sweet apples)
3 stalks of celery thinly sliced
Instructions
Whisk the first six ingredients together for a dressing. Combine with the cut apple and vegetables. Mix thoroughly and chill.
