How to Make an Herbal Tea for Hot Flashes
This tea can be enjoyed warm or iced! Because I grow my herbs, I used fresh for this photo, but the recipe is for dried herbs, which work just as well. The hibiscus roselle will give a lovely reddish-pink tint to your tea.
- 2 parts fresh or dried sage
- 2 parts fresh or dried mint
- *optional – 1 part – lemon balm, or dried hibiscus roselle
- Honey or stevia to taste
Combine the herbs and prepare an infusion: for each 1 teaspoon of herbs use 1 cup of boiling water, and steep for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 1-2 cups throughout the day as needed.
